Great rooftop bar; although there’s not much of a view, the ambience more than makes up for it. The food might be a bit on the expensive side, but the flavors are on point and I’d say it’s worth it. I would recommend the Limoncello Salmon Crudo and Skylight Smash.

We enjoyed the Winterlicious dinner selection. Our selection included the Carpaccio, beet salad, octopus, Cornish hen, tarts citron, Euskara cake and cappuccinos. All was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. The ambience is chic and just my style.

If you're looking for an upscale experience, this place may not be the one for you. The service is exceptional, the food is aromatic, and quite tasty, the cocktails are uniquely composed, but the vibe lacks authenticity. The space behind the bar is somewhat poorly lit, and the patio is closed during cooler days. We were told that the menu would be changing soon. We opted to share a few dishes, SMOKEY EGGPLANT MUTTABEL, PISTACHIO AND GREEN PEPPER MUHAMARRA, ORGANIC CAULIFLOWER, ZUCCHINI FRIES, & SMOKEY FRIES. There seem to be a 2hr limit to dine and we were half way through our meals that we were informed about our time limit coming to an end. Our server tried multiple times to extend our limit. Not a great experience when you’re on the edge not knowing how much longer you'd be able to stay. Wonder why I still gave this 5stars, it's solely because each person's criteria to experience the space might be different.

Cornish hen was a delight, and the mocktails really delivered. Friendly service and a warm night with friends. The cheesecake definitely brought the house down. It was rich, and we shared it among the four of us.

The view is astonishing and our experience during a dedicated Cinco de Mayo night was exceptional. While the fine dining type dishes strayed from what would be considered Mexican cuisine, the elegance of the dishes and balance of flavours set them apart.

Brunch sticks to the classics, which are simple, well-done, and tasty. The vibe and the people really make the place though. It’s super cozy atmosphere, and the staff are so warm and friendly. It’s the kind of spot you want to hang out at, even after the meal’s done.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Skylight, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly and were well-prepared to make my evening special. Once seated, we took a moment to soak in the atmosphere. The open, stylish layout combined with dim lighting created a calming and elegant ambiance. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, helping us select the perfect drinks and confidently affirming our food choices. For cocktails, we ordered the Wish You Roses Margarita, Green Light Daiquiri, and a unique twist on the Sumac Sour. Although the Sumac Sour was unavailable initially, what we received was absolutely delicious. During drinks, our waiter kindly offered to take photos for us, adding a thoughtful touch to the evening. Our appetizers set the tone for the meal: the Limoncello Salmon Crudo was a harmonious blend of sweet, sour, and savory flavors, while the Spicy Whipped Feta delivered the perfect creamy consistency. We also shared the Beet Salad, which, though a bit small in portion, was light and refreshing. Before diving into our main course, the team surprised us with special birthday shots, adding an extra celebratory touch. The mains were served promptly, and each dish impressed us. The Charred Octopus was incredibly soft and tender—arguably the best we’ve ever had. The Grilled Lamb Chops, Martin’s Farm 18oz Rib Eye, and Ricotta Ravioli were also big hits. Unfortunately, I had to step away during dinner, and my food had cooled by the time I returned, but my family and friends raved about how delicious the lamb was. We ended the meal with the Euskara Cake, a dessert our waiter described as rich and creamy—it did not disappoint. A huge thank-you to the wonderful team at Skylight for their impeccable service and for going above and beyond to make my birthday so memorable. I look forward to visiting again soon!
